SUBFEST RC Submarine transport
An exciting option available to all SUBFEST skippers this year is personal transport of your RC submarines to and from the event. This is done thanks to the offering of Ron Lawrence, who will be traveling from San Diego, California, to the event in Cohutta, Georgia and back again.
If you can meet him anywhere along his journey, space can be made to transport your RC submarine safely there and back, freeing you up to leverage commercial air transportation to and from the event without having to worry about bringing your boat on the plane or risking damage or loss by shipping it.
Attendees wishing to leverage this service are responsible for properly crating their boats and arranging a meeting time at any of the stops outlined in the itinerary. Transportation to and from the event will be provided for a fee, as outlined below.
To determine cost you'll need:

The cost multiplier from the chart to the right of this page

The total distance from your rendezvous point to the event
Your cost is equal to: (cost multiplier) x (number of miles from rendezvous to Cohutta, GA)

For example, if your crate measures 1ft x 1.2ft x 6ft, your volume would be 7.2 cubic feet. Looking at the chart, your cost multiplier is $0.100. If you were meeting Ron in Albuquerque, NM, you would be 1,400 miles from Cohutta, Georgia:
