SSN-571 FULLY FUNCTIONAL TORPEDO SHUTTERS PARTS LIST AND BUILD INSTRUCTIONS
 
Notes: 
This design is based on the stock scale (1/72) of the SSN-571. This design is not directly scalable. The linkages and hardware sizes would all have to change drastically, requiring an entirely new design. For 3D printed parts, use thermoplastics only (FDM), ABS preferred, except as noted. This is due to the use of heat set inserts which will not work in resin.
 
The functional retractable bow plane mod should be completed before this, the fuctional shutters mod, as there is crossover between the two designs. Some of the functionality would not be complete without both designs implemented. It is strongly recommended that you complete the functional Bow plane mod before completing the functional Shutters mod.
