This is one of the very few Ocean Research Russian Alfa model kits produced. Rendered in 1:50 scale, this impressive kit measures 64" in length and 7.5" in beam. 

The hull is created with epoxy fiberglass and the layup is very high quality and exceptionally light. Stiffening bulkheads are pre-installed, including stainless steel alignment pins. Veyr nice scribing details bring the model to life. The original cast appendages are already installed, though some damage has been incurred. Fortunately, a complete set of brand new and exceptionally accurate cast appendages are also included to really make this model breathtaking.
